Macbeth Wants Banquo to believe that he has not been thinking about the witches and they did not bother him. “ I think not of them” He doesn’t want to give them power over himself.

Lady Macbeth wants to move on, forget the murder and keep trying to gain power. Like she says “consider it not so deeply” and “these deeds must not be thought after these ways; so it will make us mad.” However Macbeth feels guilty over the fact that he took another persons life and he is not happy with himself. “will all great Neptune’s ocan wash this blood clean from my hands”
4. Who are Macbeth's other victims? Why does he commit more murders?
Macbeth Kills Duncan but makes it look like his two chamber men do it. He does this because he wants to avenge his kings death but also he and his wife wants Macbeth to gain power.
